Roll, let rise and fry, as for maple bars, except cut strips so they are a little more narrow at one end (strictly for looks). When almost cool, run a slim, sharp knife inside narrow end almost full length to open jaws for filling. Fill with marshmallow filling (see Icings section of this book), using a pastry tube, or invent one from a plastic freezer bag with a hole in one corner.
Fill only enough jaws to be eaten in one day. The others may be frozen, thawed, warmed and filled as needed.
Any remaining dough makes very acceptable dinner or cinnamon rolls.
